Travellers increasingly seek after the renowned Bed and Breakfasts in the city of Barcelona. Their features are similar to those of a pension, but in this case, as the name suggests, breakfast is included in the price. Normally, this breakfast is consumed in the company of the family that owns the property. Another difference with regard to pensions is that most bed and breakfasts only have one or two, sometimes three rooms to rent.

Breakfast is the only meal available; the other meals will have to be sought elsewhere as they don’t offer either bar nor restaurant. Some of them feature vending machines for drinks and snacks.

They are fairly inexpensive, but usually do not provide any extra service other than a bed and breakfast. Some offer towels and a change of sheets, but we advise to check before departure in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
