Thanks to its art and culture, Barcelona has developed into a contemporary city, this becomes particularly evident when we visit the MACBA or Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, located in the heart of the Raval district even though the city is dotted throughout by more constructions of this type, well-known buildings the Torre Agbar by Jean Nouvel, the Torre de Collserola by Norman Fuster or the National theater of Catalonia by Ricard Bofill.

Many of its districts have been slowly dressed-up with immense works of postmodern architecture, including that of the Olympic Ring on the mountain of Montjuic as well as pieces like the steel Fish by Frank Gehry.

The city is laden with examples of contemporary art and proof of this is found at every turn of its corners.
